Li-FT® Saline Lightening Solution is a non-chemical, non-acid, high salt based, fruit seed extract saline tattoo lightening product.
With proper aftercare, it has the ability to lighten unwanted permanent makeup, microblading, and small body tattoos.
Li-FT® is safe to use on all PMU procedures including eyeliners.
Lightening sessions can be done a minimum of 8 weeks apart.
Saline removal uses the power of osmosis to lift pigment molecules up and out of the skin. The solution is placed into the dermis with a group of needles, in a method similar to tattooing. The real magic happens during the healing process. During that time, the unwanted pigments will rise to the surface of the skin and exit in the form of a scab. We want scabs! In some cases, pigment may appear darker once scabbing falls off, but this is a good sign as it can mean that the pigment is coming to the surface.
This process requires patience and typically multiple sessions. Expect visible results in 2-5 sessions.
The number of sessions needed will depend on factors such as- how saturated the pigment is, how deep it was implanted, and how much pigment needs to be removed for the desired result. Results are also highly dependent on client aftercare! If you are not able to commit to aftercare, this may not be the pigment removal solution for you. Please refer to the aftercare instructions before committing to this service.
If you had bad permanent makeup or body art, an emergency Li-FT® session is available and MUST be done within 48 hours of the appointment.
After the 48-hour mark, the skin has begun the healing process and the emergency window has closed. If you are past the 48-hour mark, you will need to wait the full 6-8 weeks to come in to begin regular Li-FT® sessions.
If you need this emergency service, please contact us immediately.

Osmosis is a process by which molecules of a solvent (water) pass through a semi-permeable membrane (skin) from a less concentrated solution into a more concentrated one.
This achieves the same amount of concentration on each side of the membrane…called Equalization.
By introducing a high concentration of salt water to the dermis where the pigment resides, we create the process of Osmosis.
Water in the cells beneath the pigment contain lower amounts of salt and water will rise to the area containing higher concentrations of salt.
Equalization forces the pigment from the dermal layer up to the epidermis by Osmotic pressure.
This is a natural process to become equal to the higher concentration of salt and water.
The pigment becomes trapped in the scab and when the scabs fall off some of the pigment goes with it.
The healing process is not glamorous.
The goal is to encourage scabbing, which pulls out pigment, and to let the scabbing hold on as long as possible. The longer the scabs stay on the skin, the more successful the lightning will be.
Disruption of the scabbing process can result in cell damage and potential scarring or discoloration of the underlying tissue.
You may experience tightness, itchiness, redness, and dryness in the treated area.
Keep the area clean by blotting with sterile saline several times throughout the day until all scabs fall off.
Do not use anything else on the area. Saline only!
Do not cover the area in any way. You may shower as normal but keep the area out of the water spray as best you can and do not let the area stay wet for more than a few minutes. Avoid steam exposure as much as possible. Gently pat dry.
NO BATHING, SWIMMING, SAUNAS, HOT TUBS, TANNING, OR EXERCISE, NO EXCEPTIONS. Once all scabbing has fallen off, you may begin using the provided oil.
