Permanent Makeup (PMU), also called micropigmentation, is the process of cosmetic tattooing—implanting pigment into the skin to enhance features like eyebrows, eyeliner, and lips, creating a long-lasting, smudge-proof makeup look that saves you time every day.
The goal of PMU is to enhance your natural features, adding subtle, lasting definition so you feel confident and look your best even without makeup.
Technically, yes! The pigment molecules exist in the skin permanently, although the color typically fades significantly over time if touch-ups aren’t maintained. This is the main reason why many people consider the service semi-permanent.
While body tattoos are generally meant to boldly decorate the body, our style of PMU is designed to enhance your natural beauty with subtle, natural-looking results.
Permanent makeup (PMU) is designed to last for years but will gradually fade over time. Factors like pigment color (lighter shades fade faster), sun exposure, skin type, immune response, and skincare routines affect how long your PMU stays vibrant. Regular touch-ups every 1–3 years help maintain fresh, natural-looking color and allow adjustments to shape and tone as your features change.
Pain levels vary by person, but we do use the best FDA-approved topical anesthetics to keep you comfortable before and during your procedure. Most clients feel minimal discomfort—many even fall asleep!
Note: Sensitivity may increase during your menstrual cycle.
Most clients need two sessions spaced 6–12 weeks apart. The second appointment is for assessing color retention and shape, with any needed adjustments. Since everyone heals differently, touch-ups help perfect your look—think of it as applying a second coat of nail polish!
Absolutely! Like any beauty routine, PMU requires regular maintenance. If your existing shape and color look too light, we’re happy to refresh them for you. Sometimes, corrections can improve the shape, color, or symmetry of previous PMU, while in other cases, removal may be needed before proceeding. Every case is unique, so we’ll create a personalized plan just for you.

Every PMU session is a bespoke creation, tailored to your skin tone, face shape, and goals—so it ages gracefully with you. We use only the highest-quality pigments, tested for color stability. While slight color shifts can happen naturally, routine touch-ups keep your PMU looking fresh as it softens over time.
